Oftentimes our stories are told like a collage, scattered with no connecting threads. After my grandmother died, putting together the pictures and stories for her funeral reminded me how important it is to have those threads connecting your life like a well-sewn quilt, rather than a mishmash of memories that don’t always come together in deep and meaningful ways. The opportunity to connect those threads for my grandmother’s eulogy was actually her last gift to me, helping me discover my passion for Legacy Lifewriting.
